Privacy Policy

Golinski Ventures sp. z o.o. ("we", "us", or "our") operates Heartdays, a mobile application that helps users count the days they have been together and celebrate their milestones. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Two modes: on your own, or paired with your partner

Heartdays is local-first by default. If you use it on your own, everything you create - your names, your start date, your photo, your memories and your answers to the daily question - stays on your device. We do not upload, read, or store that content, and we never sell your personal data.

If you choose to pair with your partner, that changes for the content you share. Pairing creates an anonymous account for you (no email, no password) and stores the shared content on our servers so that it can reach the other person's phone and widget. You can use the entire app without ever pairing.

Information we collect

When you are not paired: nothing you create leaves your device. We receive only what the ad partners below process while ads are shown, plus anything you write to us for support.

When you are paired, the following is stored on our servers (Supabase, hosted in the EU) and is visible to you and your partner:

• the first names you enter for the two of you;
• an anonymous account identifier - created automatically, with no email address or password;
• photos and drawings you post to the shared widget;
• your answers to the daily question, as free text;
• invite codes you generate to connect the two devices (they expire after 24 hours);
• your time zone as set for the pair, so that daily questions and reminders arrive on the right day;
• a push notification token for your device (issued by Apple or Google) together with your device's language, so that notifications from your partner reach you in your language.

The push token and language are used only to deliver notifications to you; they are not used for advertising. We do not use this content for advertising, we do not analyse it, and it is not shared with the ad partners below. It is transmitted over an encrypted connection and access is restricted so that only the two people in a pair can read it.

We do not run analytics or crash-reporting software in the app, so we do not collect usage statistics or crash reports of our own.

How we use information

To run the app and keep a paired couple's shared content in sync between their two devices, to send you notifications from your partner in your language, to show ads to users who have not bought Pro, to answer support requests, to prevent abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

Third-party services

We use Supabase as our hosting and database provider for paired accounts; it processes the shared content described above on our behalf, on servers in the European Union. Notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service (iOS) and Firebase Cloud Messaging by Google (Android). Ads are served through Appodeal and its advertising networks (see below). Purchases run through Apple and Google. These providers process data according to their own privacy terms.

Advertising

Heartdays is free and shows ads. Pro removes them. Ads are delivered through Appodeal (ad mediation) and Google AdMob. Appodeal's software development kit (SDK) works with several ad networks: on iOS with Google AdMob and Appodeal's own exchange, on Android additionally with BidMachine and Bidon. To serve and measure ads, these partners may process your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), IP address, coarse location derived from it, basic device and app information, information about ads shown and clicked, and SDK diagnostic data (such as performance and error information) used to keep the ads working and to prevent fraud.

On iOS we ask for your permission before using the advertising identifier (App Tracking Transparency); if you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalised. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent for personalised advertising through a Google-certified consent message, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time. On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in system settings; on iOS you can turn off tracking in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Buying Heartdays Pro removes all ads from the app.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Data retention & deletion

Content that never left your device disappears when you delete the app - we hold no copy of it, and we cannot restore it for you.

Shared content from a paired account (names, widget photos and drawings, daily answers) is kept on our servers for as long as the pair exists, so that both partners keep seeing it. Invite codes expire after 24 hours. To have a paired account and its shared content deleted, see Delete account or write to contact@golinski-ventures.pl. We delete or anonymise personal data unless retention is required by law. Note that content your partner has already seen or saved on their own device is outside our control.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal information.

Children

Heartdays is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction).
